Colour Poem

What is Blue?

Blue is the sky,

Along with the sun.

Blue is the ocean,

Wide and beautiful.

Blue is the colour in my eyes,

that sparkles in the sunshine.

Blue is the whales,

Riding on the waves.

Blue is the colour of my fingernails,

sparkling in the sunlight.

What is Jade?

Jade is the grass,

Swaying in the wind.

Jade is the plants,

Stretching out to grow.

Jade is the colour of a crayon,

Drawing a picture of a boat.

Jade is the colour of my Mom's T-shirt,

Swaying in the breeze.

What is Razzmatazz?

Razzmatazz is the colour of the flowers,

Bees and birds get attracted to. 

Razzmatazz is the colour of some birds,

Catching worms to bring to the nest.

Razzmatazz is the colour of the sunset sky,

Twinkling all around.

Razzmatazz is the colour of my frills,

Sitting on the end of my T-shirt.
